Catalyzed Conversion Varnish
Signature Custom Woodworking is proud to furnish you with this solid wood counter top. We know you will enjoy it for many years.
The wood for your top has been carefully selected from the finest grades of kiln-dried lumber available. After the top has been produced to fit your particular needs for size, shape, and species; we then apply a Catalyzed Conversion Varnish finish. This custom made wood top is a piece of fine furniture and can be easily maintained. After many years of use if your top shows more than honest wear you can sand the entire top, refinish, and have a practically new wood top.
Normal clean up can be done with a solution of warm water and mild soap. Rinse lightly with clear water and dry any excess. You may even polish your top with a furniture polish such as PledgeŽ . Recent studies have shown that unhealthy bacteria survive on plastic cutting boards but die quickly on wooden ones. Wood contains natural enzymes that kill bacteria.
